Pricing & Trial

Is it really free?
Yes. 14 full days, zero cost, no credit card. After that, plans start at $10/month if you want to continue. If not, Walfred just pauses. No charges, ever.
What happens after 14 days?
Walfred pauses. Your data stays safe. Whenever you want to continue, just subscribe — everything you built during the trial is still there.
Do I need to cancel?
No. If you don't subscribe after 14 days, nothing happens. No charges. No cancellation form. You 'cancel' by simply... not doing anything.

Data & Privacy

Is my data private?
Absolutely. We are not like tools that give AI unrestricted access to your data. Walfred strictly limits what the AI can do — your data is protected using industry-standard security practices, never sold, and never used to train models. Privacy isn't an afterthought, it's our DNA.
Is this like Open Claw?
No, it is not like Open Claw. Walfred is designed to be super safe. We strictly restrict what the AI can do to ensure your data remains secure and private at all times.
Does Walfred have access to my previous conversations once I link?
No. We do not have access to your chat history prior to you linking your account. We only start processing conversations from the moment you connect Walfred.
Can I choose which contacts Walfred tracks?
Yes. You have full control. You can exclude any contact, and Walfred will not process, store, or learn anything from those conversations. It's as if Walfred doesn't exist for those chats.
Who are you and why should I trust you with my data?
Walfred follows industry best practices for keeping your data safe, with a Privacy Policy and Terms of Service that explicitly detail that we don't own your data and that we don't sell it or process it in ways that can compromise your privacy. We're a team passionate about automating tedious tasks, giving you more time for what truly matters.

Device & Connection

Will this consume data and battery on my phone?
No. Using Walfred is like opening WhatsApp Web on a remote server. It doesn't consume any of your phone's data or battery whatsoever.
Does it work even if my phone is off?
Yes! Because we use WhatsApp's Linked Devices feature, once you link your account, Walfred operates independently. Your phone can be turned off, in airplane mode, or completely offline, and Walfred will still work and your scheduled messages will still send.
Can I still use WhatsApp normally on my phone while Walfred is connected?
Yes! You can use your phone exactly as you normally do. Walfred acts as a background assistant on a linked device and will not interrupt your normal texting.

Platform & Accounts

Do I need to create an account?
No. Linking your WhatsApp IS your account. No email, no password. Dashboard access through magic links sent to your WhatsApp.
Can I try it before linking?
Yes! Chat with Walfred on WhatsApp first. Ask questions, see how it works. Link when you're ready.
Do you only support WhatsApp?
Currently, we only support WhatsApp. However, our plan is to expand to other platforms in the future, so you don't have to manually input any data—everything will just be filled from your normal conversations across different apps.
Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?
Yes. Walfred uses WhatsApp Web to connect to your number making it possible to use your already installed Personal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.
How do you connect to my WhatsApp number?
The connection is made using WhatsApp Web which allows you to use your existing number with no extra costs. Other vendors resell Meta's Cloud API, which will require you to change your number and pay for all incoming and outgoing messages.
Do I need to migrate my number over to Walfred?
No. We make it as simple as scanning a QR code or copying a pairing code exactly as you would connect to WhatsApp Web.
Can this cause my number to be banned?
No. In the eyes of Meta, this is just a normal WhatsApp Web connection. Unless you use Walfred to spam people, your number will continue to work normally.
What happens if I decide to leave Walfred?
You can disconnect Walfred from your number at any time either from our application or by revoking our access using the official WhatsApp application. You have full control over your number at all times.

Features & Usage

How is this different from HubSpot/Salesforce?
Those require you to manually enter data. Walfred learns from conversations you're already having — zero data entry. And it lives inside WhatsApp, so there's no new app to learn.
Will my contacts know Walfred sent the message?
No. There is no way for your contacts to tell it was automated. Messages are sent as you, from your number. When someone replies, you just take over the conversation naturally.
Can I send multiple messages at a time?
Yes. Walfred allows to send personalized bulk messages/broadcast lists. But just beware that if you send more than 200 messages in a row per day, WhatsApp may ban you (it's easy to recover your account, but it takes a couple of days).
Do you work with WhatsApp Groups?
Yes! I can process conversations, extract information, and remember details from your group chats just like individual chats. You can also schedule messages to groups.
Can I schedule images, PDFs, or voice notes?
Currently, I can schedule text messages and I can also summarize voice notes that you forward to me. Scheduling audios, images, or other media formats is not supported right now but it is planned for the future!
